Newly created Security Officer position at St Ives Gold Mine
Security qualification or relevant experience required

You’ll work closely with a diverse team to maintain a safe and secure environment across the mine site. You’ll make a meaningful impact by protecting people, property, and assets while ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.

What You’ll Do
Implement the Site Security Management Plan, including access control, personnel and vehicle searches, NPC clearance checks, drug and ******* testing, and CCTV monitoring.
Conduct vehicle and foot patrols to maintain site security and safety.
Manage site entry points, verifying identification and authorisations for personnel, contractors, and visitors.
Assist with security audits and inspections and ensure all site security compliance requirements are completed and maintained.
Respond to incidents and provide support to emergency situations
Maintain accurate records and reports related to security activities

What You’ll Bring
Cert 2 in Security Operations
Previous experience in mining, FIFO, or industrial site security desirable
A growth mindset, with strong communication, responsibility, and relationship-building skills
