Position Purpose To perform operational duties in TATs prescribed by the bank with due diligence Customer Service To ensure that all the daily transactions are monitored for same day error-free completion in co-ordination with relevant stakeholders. Be available for clients to act as their partner and advisor. NIL pending / delayed transactions on daily basis at the Branch. Client delivery and advisory for their satisfaction – focus on global TATs than Branch TAT. NIL / minimal client complaints and incidences. Compliance Ensure all transactions are processed strictly as per internal procedures / policies and regulatory guidelines as well as adhere to internal accounting norms. Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities • Local Bills – Clean Bill Discounting under collection • Discounting under LC • Collection Bill Lodgement + Despatch +Settlement • Connexis Management • Dox Drawn on us – Honour & Settlement • Follow up of Acceptance, Payments & overdue Bills • Reconciliation of Transit & Suspense Accounts • Vigilance local bills • Advance against Export followup (Auto mail goes from CCTO) • MTT – Export Leg Collection and settlement • Bundle Treasury reporting • Any other work related to Trade (Irrespective of Desk) in case of exigency • To comply with bank's laid down procedure, RBI and other regulatory guidelines • To work in the best interest of the bank as well as our clients Anti – Money Laundering / Financial Sanctions ("AML / FS") related duties Operations are an integral part of the control framework including for AML / FS topics. In that respect, in performing your role you are expected to ensure adherence to AML / FS – related Group Policies and execution of associated operational controls, and to promptly escalate any resulting hit for analysis and decision to the relevant authority • Any other work related to Trade (Irrespective of Desk) in case of exigency. • To comply with bank's laid down procedure, RBI and other regulatory guidelines • To work in the best interest of the bank as well as our clients Contributing Responsibilities Risk Management, Housekeeping on general Operations controls pertaining to the department Technical & Behavioral Competencies Technical : • Knowledge of Trade Finance and hands on experience • Knowledge of General Banking, RBI guidelines and other regulations • Knowledge of FEMA & ICC Regulations • Basic Knowledge of Cash Management & Credit Documentation • Client interfacing skills • Proficiency in Computers especially Microsoft Office Behavioral • Good interpersonal skills • Good communication skills • Ability to interact with different teams and get things done or escalate to the appropriate level • Customer Centric with a spirit of excellence in customer services Skills Referential Behavioural Skills: • Ability to collaborate / Teamwork • Creativity & Innovation / Problem solving • Personal Impact / Ability to influence • Decision Making Transversal Skills: • Ability to understand, explain and support change • Ability to inspire others & generate people's commitment • Ability to develop others & improve their skills • Ability to develop and adapt a process Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent (3 years) Experience Level At least 2 years Other/Specific Qualifications (if required) Proficiency in Computer : MS Office
