Job Description:
We are looking for skilled and compassionate Staff Nurses to join our Occupational Health Centre (OHC) team at Max Healthcare in Gurugram. As a Staff Nurse in OHC, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the well-being of employees by providing medical care and assistance.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a disciplined and organized medical center, recording vital signs (TPR, BP & Pain Score), and offer counseling to employees visiting the medical room.
• Assist doctors in patient care, including performing procedures, dispensing medications, and carrying out treatment instructions.
• Conduct tasks such as Random Blood Sugar checks, Oxygen inhalation therapy, dressings, and assisting in various medical procedures.
• Dispense Over-the-Counter (OTC) medicines when necessary, considering patient safety and side effects.
• Ensure the readiness of emergency bags and ambulances, maintaining all medical equipment for prompt response to emergent situations.
• Coordinate patient transfers to higher medical centers and liaise with hospital authorities for admissions and treatment progress updates.
• Prepare requisition indents for medical supplies and manage inventory, checking expiry dates and returning near-expiry items.
• Verify the quality of fluids before administration, adhering to guidelines, and maintaining a logbook for patient registrations and emergencies.
• Assist in preparing various reports as instructed by the center in charge or corporate management.
• Maintain records of biomedical waste disposal as per policy and actively participate in medical preparedness team activities, including mock drills.
• Prepare and maintain emergency bags for the medical room and ambulance, conducting weekly self-audits and replacing consumed medicines.
• Support Team Leader, Operation Manager, and Human Resources in attendance tracking for salary processing.
Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Nursing.
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience.
• Registered Nurse with valid credentials.
• Strong communication and counseling skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a medical team.
• Familiarity with medical emergency protocols and procedures.
