We are a Vancouver-based events and entertainment team launching a bold, social-first YouTube dating game show designed for a modern, mature audience. Blending nightlife energy with interactive dating formats, our show focuses on real chemistry, humor, and unscripted moments in a fast-paced, engaging environment.
This is an opportunity to be the face of a growing digital series with strong potential for audience growth and brand partnerships.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a charismatic, quick-witted host who can confidently lead a dating-style game show on camera. You’ll guide contestants through interactive segments, keep energy high, and create memorable moments that translate well to YouTube and social media clips.
Key Responsibilities:
Host and lead on-camera dating game show segments
Engage contestants and audience with humor, confidence, and personality
Facilitate game mechanics (elimination rounds, challenges, audience prompts)
Improvise and adapt to unscripted moments
Maintain pacing, energy, and flow of the show
Collaborate with producers and crew on format and segment delivery
Participate in occasional promotional content (reels, TikToks, etc.)
Ideal Candidate:
Strong on-camera presence (host, performer, or content creator experience preferred)
Excellent improvisation and communication skills
Confident, personable, and naturally engaging
Comfortable discussing dating, relationships, and social dynamics
Ability to command a room and manage multiple personalities
Background in hosting, acting, stand-up, or nightlife/event MCing is a strong asset
Familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, or digital content trends is a plus
Requirements:
Based in or able to work in Vancouver, BC
Available for scheduled shoot days (primarily evenings or weekends)
Must be comfortable on camera and in a social/interactive environment
Must be 19+
Compensation:
Competitive hourly or per-shoot rate (based on experience)
Potential for ongoing role as series grows
Opportunity for brand exposure and personal platform growth
