Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused On-Site Desktop Support Engineer / IT Support
Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for end users across hardware, software, and
network-related issues. This role is critical in maintaining operational continuity, resolving incidents
efficiently, and ensuring a high standard of IT service delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
• Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in Windows and Mac environments.
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications.
• Support endpoint security tools, antivirus, and data loss prevention policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the
system.
• Assist with device migrations, imaging, and deployment of new hardware / software.
• Educate users on IT policies, process, best practices, and self-service tools.
• Collaborate with network, server, and application teams for escalated issues.
• Generate reports and summaries for recurring issues and service trends.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and coordinate with procurement for replacements.
Required Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or
equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, MacOS, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote support tools.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow / Zoho
etc).
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and endpoint security protocols.
Preferred Skills :
• Strong Technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to document procedures and create user guides.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
• IT certifications are a plus
