Your Role
As an On-Site Project Leader, you will be at the forefront of implementing innovative automation solutions at client sites. This high-impact role involves leading cross-functional teams composed of design, engineering, supply chain, finance, installation, commissioning, operations, suppliers, and customers. Your leadership will ensure project execution is aligned, on schedule, and risk mitigation strategies are effectively applied. You'll also be pivotal in communicating proactively to unify diverse stakeholders towards common goals.
This remote, travel-based position requires up to 60% travel to client locations, and candidates should be situated within the Eastern or Central time zones for optimal collaboration with teams.
What We Do
The Project Execution team is essential to bringing Symbotic's automation solutions to life. We oversee projects from conception to acceptance, focusing on delivering results on time, within budget, and meeting the highest quality standards. Acting as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients, we ensure clarity and accountability, ultimately delivering measurable value.
Your Responsibilities
• Oversee project delivery to consistently meet scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams through all project phases, ensuring strong focus on goals.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, quality, installation, and commissioning teams to synchronize timelines and achieve high-quality delivery.
• Proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities to ensure projects remain on track and within budget.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, providing clear updates to internal and external stakeholders to maintain project momentum.
• Promote a culture of transparency, timely decision-making, and collaborative partnerships among project participants.
Your Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 4 years' experience managing large-scale automation, material handling, or construction projects.
• Proven expertise in scheduling, scope, cost, and risk management for complex technical projects.
• Experience in robotic automation, ASRS, or material handling is preferred.
• Experience managing design/build and installation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with clients, contractors, and engineering teams.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
• Proficient in problem-solving under pressure and implementing innovative solutions.
• Effective negotiator with a proven ability to balance competing priorities.
• Familiarity with scheduling software, earned value management, and data-driven performance tracking.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
Work Environment
• This role requires approximately 75% of time spent on construction sites where PPE is mandatory (hard hat, safety vest, steel-toed footwear, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection equipment).
• Employees must comply with all safety protocols, including Lock out Tag-out and fall protection requirements.
• Must possess a valid driver's license to travel to various client sites.
• Must be able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.
• The role may involve working at heights of up to 45 feet and in restricted spaces.

The base salary for this position ranges from $101,000.00 to $138,600.00, based on your skills and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO, and more.
