*REQUIREMENT* Applicants MUST have a STCW Basic safety training to be considered for this role as a Seafarer.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming Passengers: Provide a warm reception and assist with boarding.

Café & Bar Duties: Serve beverages, prepare delicious food, and make barista-quality coffee.

Stock Management: Monitor and replenish stock as needed.

Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in passenger areas and cabins.

Safety & First Aid: Ensure safe passenger movement and provide first aid if necessary.

Effective Communication: Engage positively with passengers and collaborate with fellow crew members.

Requirements:

STCW valid certificates in:

Fire Prevention and Firefighting

Elementary First Aid

Personal Survival Techniques

Crowd Management and safety training

Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities

Seafarer Security Awareness

Minimum Age: 18 years old.

Legal Right to Work: Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Swimming Ability: Ability to swim and float unaided.

Pre-Employment Checks: Includes a medical examination, drug test, and Ministry of Justice check.
