Job Description:
Onboarding Specialist will work closely with HR teams, hiring managers, and new employees to ensure a seamless integration into the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Onboarding Process Management:
Develop and implement an effective onboarding process for new employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Coordinate and schedule pre-employment checks, including background checks, reference checks, and drug screenings.
Prepare and distribute new hire paperwork, including employment contracts, offer letters, and other relevant documents.
Collaborate with hiring managers to gather necessary information and complete required paperwork.
Conduct orientation sessions for new employees to introduce them to company policies, culture, values, and work expectations.
2.New Employee Integration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during the onboarding process, addressing their questions and concerns.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure new employees have the necessary equipment, access, and resources on their first day.
Facilitate new hire introductions and networking opportunities to help foster positive relationships within the organization.
Assist in coordinating training and development programs to support the integration and growth of new employees.
3.Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all employee information and documentation are accurately recorded and maintained in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Complete and submit relevant paperwork related to new hires, including payroll, benefits, and tax forms.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the onboarding process.
Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve the onboarding process and develop best practices.
4.Onboarding Metrics and Reporting:
Track and maintain metrics related to the onboarding process, such as time-to-productivity, new hire satisfaction, and retention rates.
Generate reports and provide regular updates to HR management on onboarding progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Executive, Onboarding Specialist, Recruitment
Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling employee information and documentation.
Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to resolve issues during the onboarding process

Duration: This is a temporary, full-time position with a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
Location: The position will be based at our company headquarters in Vashi- Navi Mumbai.
It will be work from office.
