Introduction: This individual will be responsible for technical delivery within the One Reg IT Development Team to meet our Trade and Reporting responsibilities and look after the overall Architecture & Landscape of the application. What will you be doing Analysis: Assistance as required in the requirements analysis for system enhancements and changes. Translate business requirements into functional specifications if required. Technical Leadership: Participate and lead the technical architecture across all regulations and not just Transaction / Trade reporting Guide and develop architecture for the application and help in driving it towards the next level of architecture which is resilient/scalable & performant, Provide dev leadership and technical guidance to the OneReg team Design: Interpret and understand functional specifications Design and prototype user-centric front and back end components Code: Hands on development of quality (i.e. readable, performing and supportable) Java code Hands on development of Autosys, Unix, and Perl scripts, delivering the functionality detailed in the technical specifications Understand RDBMS and also involve in performance tuning of the SQL queries. Ensuring code written meets the predefined company and department standards Performance Tuning: Tuning and guiding the team to ensureoptimal application performance Conducting peer reviews and providing constructive feedback What we're looking for: 16+ years of Core Java & Enterprise Software development experience 12+ years of experience in the areas of Multithreading, Memory management and handling high volumes of data processing Worked and driven architecture of enterprise scale applications in the Markets/Investment Banking domain with experience in building scalable/resilient and performant large scale applications.
