Introduction
This individual will be responsible for technical delivery within the One Reg IT Development Team to meet our Trade and Reporting responsibilities and look after the overall Architecture & Landscape of the application.
What will you be doing?
• Analysis:
• Assistance as required in the requirements analysis for system enhancements and changes.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications if required.
• Technical Leadership:
• Participate and lead the technical architecture across all regulations and not just Transaction / Trade reporting
• Guide and develop architecture for the application and help in driving it towards the next level of architecture which is resilient/scalable & performant,
• Provide dev leadership and technical guidance to the OneReg team
• Design:
• Interpret and understand functional specifications
• Design and prototype user-centric front and back end components
• Code:
• Hands on development of quality (i.e. readable, performing and supportable) Java code
• Hands on development of Autosys, Unix, and Perl scripts, delivering the functionality detailed in the technical specifications
• Understand RDBMS and also involve in performance tuning of the SQL queries.
• Ensuring code written meets the predefined company and department standards
