NW Papatoetoe-Online shopper -Casual Role
Are you someone who loves grocery shopping and knows your way around a supermarket aisle? Join our Online Team at New World Papatoetoe, where you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience by picking, packing, and processing our Online orders.
As an Online Shopper, you’ll be responsible for selecting the freshest products, finding smart substitutions, and making sure our customers get exactly what they need — just as if you were shopping for yourself.
What you will bring:
Great time management – you’re quick and focused, even when it’s busy.
Strong attention to detail – 100% accuracy is our goal.
Speed and agility – you’re fast on your feet and comfortable moving throughout the store.
Strong organizational skills – efficiency is your superpower.
Customer service mindset – every order is a reflection of our store.
Physical fitness – able to lift 15–20kg and stay on your feet throughout your shift.
Reliability – being on time and present matters in our small, close-knit team.
A full, clean driver’s license – not required, but a bonus if you’re confident helping with deliveries.
Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety practices – a definite advantage.
Hours:
This is a casual role to start with, with shifts available any day of the week between 6AM–3PM. If a full-time opportunity becomes available, casual team members will be welcome to apply.
We're looking to start training the right candidate as soon as possible – ideally this week!
