Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead the planning, deployment, and management of MOOCs across our institution. As Head – MOOC Course Implementation, you will play a critical role in expanding our digital education initiatives, collaborating with faculty, ensuring quality standards, and enhancing students' access to global learning platforms.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for MOOC adoption and integration at our institution.
• Identify and map relevant MOOC courses aligned with our curricula, credit transfer policies, and student development goals.
• Coordinate with department heads, deans, and faculty members for seamless integration of MOOCs into academic programs.
• Guide students in course selection, registration, tracking progress, and completing certifications.
• Manage academic credit mapping and recognition in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Organize training sessions/workshops for faculty and students on using MOOC platforms effectively.
• Promote a blended learning environment through the integration of online courses and traditional instruction.
• Maintain dashboards and generate reports on student enrollment, progress, completion rates, and impact analysis.
• Implement feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree or higher in Education Technology, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification or training in digital education, instructional design, or online learning technologies is a plus.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in managing online learning initiatives, academic administration, or educational technology projects.
• Prior experience in integrating MOOCs into academic programs at a higher education institution will be highly preferred.
