Job Description
The School of Community Ministry at Missional University invites applications for an online faculty position in At-Risk Youth & Family Services. The successful applicant will teach at-risk youth and family services courses.
Applicants must have the following combinations to be considered:
a PhD in Human Services or related area from an accredited university
a minimum of 3 years teaching experience
a minimum of 3 years experience working with at-risk youth
Applicants may teach online from anywhere on the globe and do not have to have US residency, but must be fluent in English and have a stable internet connection.

Responsibilities and Duties
Applicants must have practical missions experience within their own country or beyond. Applicants must have a strong orientation to developing at-risk youth and family services courses related to the missio dei [mission of God] in scripture.
Teaching responsibilities include the development and delivery of undergraduate upper division and graduate level elearning courses integrating family services, resilience theory and the missio dei.
The successful applicant will function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) working with an instructional technologist to design, develop and deploy his or her own courses. Course development will begin immediately upon hire.
Qualifications and Skills
Doctoral degree in Human Services or a related field (PhD) or equivalent from an accredited university
Teaching experience, preferably online
Experience working with at-risk youth & their famliies
A vibrant Christian testimony
Practical missions experience in his/her own country of origin or beyond
Agreement with the faith and ethos statements of the Missional University
Passionate about the mission, vision and core values of the Missional University
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $10,000.00 - $54,870.96 per year
