Job Description
As a Credit Manager-Home Loans, you will be responsible for managing a team and coordinating with sales teams to achieve targets. You will work closely with customers to establish their creditworthiness, ensuring completion of verifications and adhering to the company's credit policy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite secured and unsecured loan proposals for customers based on established policies and procedures.
• Supervise a team of credit underwriters and provide guidelines.
• Conduct personal discussions with customers to establish their creditworthiness.
• Control and contain front-end delinquencies by calling customers promptly.
• Ensure completion of credit/KYC documents and verification through telephonic, field, and collateral visits.
• Coordinate with sales teams to achieve targets and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Maintain adherence to accepted credit policy standards.
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of credit underwriters.
Requirements:
• Graduate or Postgraduate degree from any recognized institution.
• 2-5 years of experience in credit management.
