Job Summary
This is a key role to support the Open Banking Ecosystem in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Specifically to act as the 'Onboarding Lead' for the KSA Open Banking Certification Centre, which is operated by Saudi Payments (SP), a division of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
Key Responsibilities
• Managing and processing user access requests for the OB Lab (in Confluence and Ozone Sandbox applications) see below
• Overseeing the preparation of weekly reports on users, usage, and certification status
• Presenting weekly reports to the SP management team
• Managing updates to user guides and FAQs in the OB Lab and Certification Framework
• Publishing conformance certifications relating to banks and fintech (which will be processed by the certification team)
• Preparing and sending email communications to banks and fintech relating to any aspects of the certification framework
• Reporting to SP's Certification Manager
• Managing one Onboarding Analyst
• Working closely with other team members in the certification team (who will manage and process all certification requests and queries from banks and fintech)
• Attending other meetings as/when required.
Skills & experience
• Essential requirements:
• At least 5 years experience in leading or managing technology teams
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Expert-level knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, and Word)
• Ability to travel and work in KSA (for periods of 3-4 weeks at a time every alternate month)
• Ability to work remotely (from home and/or Ozone office in Pune) at all other times
• Ozone will provide a company laptop and pay for travel and accommodation in KSA
• Highly desirable:
• Experience with open banking standards and concepts
• Fluent written and oral Arabic communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple senior stakeholders (internally and externally)
About KSA OB Lab
The Open Banking Lab provides a technical testing environment to enable banks and fintech to develop, test, and certify their open banking services to ensure conformance with the Open Banking Framework. The lab is designed to foster innovation and speed up the development of open banking in the Kingdom. Key elements of the Open Banking Lab:
• Sandbox Environment: The lab provides a simulation of a real bank's open banking APIs. Open Banking participants can develop and test their applications in a safe and secure environment.
• Ready Use Cases: The lab is designed to support a wide range of end retail and corporate use cases. Mock data is available for the participants to test their solutions.
• Testing and Certification: Participants can easily access the lab's conformance suites to test and certify their APIs to ensure conformance with the Open Banking Framework.
About Ozone API
Ozone API is the developer of the leading standards-based open finance API platform which supports multiple standards globally, including the OpenID Foundation’s FAPI profile and open banking/finance standards from OBIE, Berlin Group, FDX, Bahrain, and Brazil. It is used by banks and financial institutions all over the world to help them meet both regulatory and commercial requirements for open banking and open finance.
We license the Ozone API software directly to banks and financial institutions, as well as via a growing network of global technology partners.
