Job Opening for Assistant Teacher - Primary section
Location: Bandra, Mumbai
Brief about Aseema:
Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value based education enabling development of their limitless potential. It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools – The Pali Chimbai Municipal School in Bandra (West) The Santacruz Municipal School in Santacruz West and The Kherwadi Municipal School in Bandra (East).
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. To prepare innovative lesson plans and teaching aids on time
2. To monitor the progress of children by correcting books and assignments regularly
3. To maintain close links with co-curricular teachers and to coordinate with Social Worker and Counsellor for the children’s requirements.
4. To actively participate in the parents meeting and provide feedback on the progress of the child to the parent
5. To complete administrative responsibilities assigned to you on time
6. To give equal attention to children of different abilities in the class
7. To be attentive and observant of the children’s needs
8. To motivate and enthuse the children
+. To communicate with children in a respectful and positive manner
10. To be flexible, open to change and willing to take on additional responsibilities
Required skills and qualifications:
Graduate with ECCEd / D.El.Ed./ B.Ed.
Minimum 1- 2 years of teaching experience in Primary section
Excellent command over English language, both written and oral skills.
Go-getter, energetic
Well versed with Computer skills and online teaching
Freshers with good communication skills will be considered.
