Experience – 4 to 8 Years
Location – Chennai (Permanent Position)
Experience & Technical skills Education and Experience:
▪ Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university
▪ Important - Minimum 3 years’ experience with Scala development
▪ Minimum 3 years of web application development using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL and architecting applications including good CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) skills ▪ Knowledge of 3rd party logistics, transportation systems is preferred
▪ Knowledge of DevOps is preferred
▪ Knowledge of Azure Data bricks & Azure Data Factory is preferred
▪ Knowledge of Python is preferred
▪ Knowledge of leading industry technologies with a strong knowledge around IT governance, project planning, and the technological usage/alternatives available in a multi-platform environment,
Objective / Purpose of the Job
• Develop cutting edge customer facing applications based on the requirements from the business.
• Making sure that all applications and solutions are working as intended at all times.
• Ensuring that all applications and solutions released are well tested and secure.
• Act with an innovative mindset being one-step ahead of competition and customer demands
Key Accountabilities (including activities)
• Participates in defining and guidance of development coding standards
• Participates in application architectural design
• Participates in requirement analysis and definition
• Ensures that the application solutions developed satisfy the business and technical requirements and standard testing procedures have been followed
• Assists in enhancing existing business processes, creating new ones
• Develops, debugs, tests and deploys new applications
• Modifies, debugs and tests existing applications
• Documents system components
• Interfaces with internal and external technical staff to define application solutions and resolve problems as needed
• Communicates with product owner to resolve issues or questions as needed
• Collaborates with business and technical experts to ensure solutions align with and support the company’s strategic plan
• Work with the business and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
