Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Operations and Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and driving business growth initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing client relationships, and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
· Oversee day-to-day operations of logistics division.
· Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Business Development
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in alignment with company growth strategies.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
· Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
· Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
· Has own client database.
Strategic Planning
· Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and objectives.
· Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for expansion.
· Recommend enhancements to service offerings based on industry insights and client feedback.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Proven experience in operations management and business development within the logistics industry.
Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management, and industry best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to drive business results.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
