Operation Head - Warehouse and Logistic

Overall Monitoring & Team Leadership

· Oversee the Customer Connect, Warehouse, and Purchase departments, ensuring tasks are completed on time.

· Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reviews with HODs to track performance and resolve issues.

· Mentor and guide department heads for efficiency improvement and operational excellence.

Order Processing & Customer Connect Management

· Ensure end-to-end order processing, from customer inquiry to final delivery.

· Monitor and resolve pending orders immediately, ensuring smooth dispatch operations.

· Coordinate with the sales team to ensure orders are processed and dispatched on time.

· Handle and resolve customer-related operational escalations.

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

· Maintain optimal product inventory levels in the warehouse to meet demand.

· Review order volumes vs. dispatch timelines to ensure timely deliveries.

· Develop strategies to liquidate non-moving stock and optimize inventory turnover.

·  Oversee warehouse operations, logistics, and dispatches to ensure efficiency.

Procurement & Supplier Management

· Monitor import and domestic procurement to ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing.

· Strengthen supplier negotiations and ensure procurement aligns with demand-supply planning.

·  Optimize procurement costs, contract management, and supplier agreements.

Logistics & Cost Optimization

· Plan and manage logistics and dispatch operations efficiently.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities through logistics partnerships, warehouse cost control, and vendor negotiations.

·  Review and renew logistics and warehouse agreements to maintain smooth operations.

MIS Reporting & Data-Driven Decision Making

· Prepare, review and submit MIS reports related to:
• Sales and Dispatch trends
• Warehouse Inventory levels & movement
• Procurement and purchasing efficiency
• Logistics and cost analytics

· Identify trends and operational inefficiencies using data analytics.

· Make strategic decisions based on performance metrics, demand forecasting, and trend analysis.

Compliance & Process Improvement

· Implement best practices in inventory control, logistics, and procurement.

· Develop and monitor SOPs for all operational processes.

· Drive automation & process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

· Strong expertise in inventory control, materials management, procurement, and logistics planning, Supply Chain Management

· Proven ability to resolve operational issues, optimize costs, and manage high-volume order processing.

· Proficiency with SAP, ERP, WMS, and supply chain analytics tools.

· Ensuring timely dispatches and clearance of pending orders

· Approving operational SOPs for warehouse and dispatch.

· Approving purchase orders within defined budget limits.

· Resolving customer complaints and escalations related to order processing and delivery delays.

· Preparing and analysing MIS reports for warehouse, procurement, and dispatch performance.
- Implementing operational improvements based on data insights.

· Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures in warehouse operations and logistics.

Decisions to be taken with peers:

· Coordinating with Sales Team for order priorities and urgent dispatches.

· Aligning order processing timelines with demand forecasts.

· Negotiating new logistics contracts or partnerships for cost reduction.

Decisions to be taken with Seniors:

· Revising warehouse rent agreements or long-term logistics partnerships.

· Approving new operational policies affecting multiple departments.

· Finalizing long-term contracts with key vendors/suppliers.
- Approving procurement above predefined budget limits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
