As our Retail Champ for Barker & Meowsky, Pet Cafe, Spa & India's first Pet Motel; it is very important that you share our love for furry friends: Cats and Dogs. Product Sales
You will greet, receive, seat and engage with the customers at the entry point.
Through conversations, understand the customer’s interests, inclination and current requirements
You’ll introduce our plethora of offerings, both product and service to customers; consult, guide and facilitate our customer’s purchase decision
Always prepare an estimation of the value of the products and service/s selected by the customer and complete the transaction by carrying out the mandated sale SOP
Chase and achieve a predetermined category-wise sales target for each section
Assist the customer in a grievance redressal pertaining to a product purchased or a service availed earlier or at the moment as per store operating policies.
Achieve customer delight by increasing the customer satisfaction score
Aim for overall increment in sales
Store Management
You’ll be adhering to the preset SOPs or standard operating procedures of the store
All your work will be carried out keeping in mind the cost saving practices of the store. We are thrifty and do not waste. You’ll be in charge of ascertaining and maintaining this. Money saved is money earned.
It will be your responsibility to conduct a daily count and maintain accounts of the stock. You’ll primarily be doing this by managing the opening stock and closing stock records of all the sections of the property.
Report and make sales entries and ensure timely replenishment of all items finishing or sold out.
Ensure proper and attractive display of products at appropriate places. Manage the visual merchandising aspect to an extent.
Watch out for the products displayed for possible theft or shoplifting. Promptly communicate all or any indication of potential theft to superiors.
Monitor the dead stock and liaison with co-founders to minimize this.
Adhere to store management policies at all times.
Provide support and comply with the marketing as well as visual merchandising team to improve footfall
Develop, maintain relationship and network with competitors to leverage leading practices & learning to improve store level processes
Retail Operations
Customer service and feedback management will be a major KPI for you. You will be responsible for collating and relaying all customer feedback to the other teams like merchandising, marketing, admin, management etc. to improve customer satisfaction and store ratings.
Devising a feedback mechanism will be your responsibility. Creative ways to get good feedback and ensure customers post it on Google Business.
Major KPI will be increasing customer satisfaction score.
You’ll also be in charge of field sales operations management involving distribution of POS material, representing B&M at exhibitions and non cafe venues, outdoor promotion and advertisement
Grievance redressal and solution
Manage customer queries effectively. Have in depth and up-to-date knowledge of products, operations, services and latest developments.
Resolve complaints by adhering to B&M complaint resolution guidelines and policies.
Take due approvals before handing out freebies to placate a customer.

- Prior Retail Sales Experience : the smartness quotient will matter the most in this role. Thinking on your feet, being charming, convincing and the ability to sell will help you excel at B&M.
- Wear many hats : you are good at multitasking. Someone who will be able to take up new and old tasks with equal enthusiasm
- Caas/Communication as a skill : you have great communication both verbal and written.
-Innovative steak: we’re hoping you will, from time to time, be able to come up with new and effective ways to do things, hence achieving more and getting better results
- Tech Savvy – you are someone who is good with MS Office, typing correctly. The more you know the better. MS Excel champs…we’d love you.
- Good Planning & Organizational Skills : If you can draw up a logical plan, stick to it, and execute it to the tee; you are our ideal person.
