Role Description
The “Service Assurance” function is part of Production Integrity in the Chief Technology Office. This function is responsible for the impartial oversight of Performance and Risk within with our core Production Technology Production Services.
Within Service Assurance our Governance function ensures that our IT leadership are engaged into relevant forums and receive and review enterprise level performance information to be able to make collaborative decisions to exploit new opportunities or prioritise corrective action where required.
The Governance Manager will organise and run key regular governance forums attended by senior IT Management folk and assure that these forums are supported by high quality aggregated performance data and that key decision making is approached in a consistent and formally documented manner. The Governance Manager will maintain a series of interlocks with key production process areas to assure their contribution to governance forums is accurate, relevant and timely and facilitate working groups across all of TDI to analyse key insights that arise at these forums.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Day to day execution of tasks related to maintaining the monthly & weekly cycles of the CIO Risk and Stability forum, the supporting underlying CIO and Process interlocks, their agenda and reporting content
• Maintain an extended network of reporting & analytics stakeholders across Safety & Soundness, Group CIO, our CIO stakeholders and our key 2nd Line of Defence organisations
• In collaboration with process owners, develop functional specifications and indicative prototypes for metrics / KPI’s / KRI’s, reports and dashboards that support the Governance forums & stakeholders; own a book of work with existing reporting functions, especially within Service Assurance to manage these from prototype into production.
• Maintain governance agreements between Service Assurance and Process Areas clearly articulating expectations, inputs, outputs from the Service Assurance Governance Forums.
• Seek opportunities to reduce duplicative efforts across the organisation, promoting and refining the agenda and reporting content of the forums to eliminate the need for additional forums
• Ensure robust monitoring of key data reporting quality and associated activities to drive accuracy and timeliness with responsible parties; ensure that controls are in place to maintain month on month reporting standards consistency for performance metrics and auditable decision trails for changes
• Contribute to overall development of strategic initiatives
• Active leadership and/or participation in various meeting and video conference forums as it relates to the services and strategy for the Governance function
Your Skills And Experience
• Minimal 5 years management experience
• Strong experience for collecting business requirements from customers, and transforming the requirements into product and output
• Proven client relationship management experience, working across both IT and business functions
• Experience working across multiple IT disciplines (platforms, end user, application)
• Experienced using project management, ITIL and SDLC methodologies
• Experience data quality management and data architecture and working with performance indicators
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in virtual teams and manager across matrix organisation structures
• Have good understanding of statistics and quantitative analysis
• Strong and creative presentation skills
• Ability to turn complex data points and metrics to simplified messages to all levels across the organization
• Strong communication skills and experienced influencing/engaging stakeholders at senior levels
• Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics, business management or related field
