Job Description
1. Assist the Surgeon / Anesthetist in Operation Theater during routine & emergency surgeries and ensure hospital SOPs are followed strictly.
2. Direct and supervise the sterilization of all instruments, linen & other consumable.
3. Manage OT bookings and ensure availability of staff in consultation with Matron & Administrative Officer.
4. Ensure Organization & supervision of OT housekeeping, Central sterile supply department, Patient care, proper collection, segregation and disposal of biomedical waste.
5. Educate the patients about surgical procedure, post-operative care and provide clear instructions on how they can manage the pain and other symptoms.
6. Carefully operate, monitor and maintain medical equipment and ensure their accurate functioning all the time and maintain record of the same.
7. Renew MNC registration, if applicable, from time to time and provide updated copy to the management.
8. Any other duties and responsibilities entrusted by the administration.
