Job Description

This role could be described as a Divisional or Workshop Coordinator position; however, at IMG we call it the Operational Improvement & Support Coordinator.


You'll be part of a supportive team of five coordinators, each aligned to specific workshop areas, but we flex support when required. This role will primarily support our Hydraulics Division, providing operational coordination, reporting, and system support, allowing our workshop teams to stay focused on delivering quality work on the tools.

We're looking for a detail‑driven, organised team member with experience in workshop or service‑based coordination and reporting, who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You'll Do
Support the Hydraulics Division with operational performance reporting, including WIP, DIFOT, and labour utilisation
Assist with opening, processing and job close‑outs, ensuring accurate costs, timesheets, and supporting documentation
Coordinate and support ISO compliance, including: training records, operating procedures, document control, audit findings and close-outs
Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
Act as a key support link between the workshop, operations, and compliance activities
What We're Looking For
Experience in administration, operations coordination, or commercial support
Strong Excel skills
Working knowledge of job costing, WIP, or ERP systems
Understanding of operational, engineering, or workshop environments
Preferred: Experience in manufacturing or service‑based industries
