In this role, you will:
• Require understanding of the model risk supervisory guidance, Model Risk Management policy and current industry best-practices.
• Support model identification, risk rank assessment, documentation, controls assessment, findings management and model risk reporting
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the model and tools risk program policies, procedures, and job aids
• Coordinate implementation and maintenance of requirements and controls
• Support the continued development and implementation of model and tool risk processes throughout Wealth & Investment Management (WIM)
• Identify opportunities for process and risk mitigation enhancements
• Provide risk management expertise and issue resolution guidance for model and tool activities
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with WIM Model Governance, Model Owners, and Model Program team members
• Assist in the preparation of weekly status and monthly Confirmation metrics for dashboard reporting.
Desired Qualifications:
• University degree in Business or related discipline
• CFA or any related certification will be preferred
• Overall 6+ years of experience with minimum 1+ years of experience on Models
• Excellent communication skills along with ability to express conceptual knowledge with clarity, building and maintaining partnerships, collaborating across lines of business as well as with corporate partners
• Experience in process review activity (QA/control testing or audit) will be preferred
• Good knowledge of model risk supervisory guidance and model validation requirements
• Technical or academic writing skills and experience
• Self-starter, ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
• Experience in producing work of highest quality within tight timelines, as well as creating, maintaining, and supporting processes subject to intense regulatory scrutiny
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Advanced Excel but not limited to: Word, Excel, , PowerPoint
