As the Operational Sustainability Associate in our Chief Administrative Office Team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
Job Responsibilities
Tracking and reporting progress toward the firm's operational sustainability targets
Developing actionable metrics on operational sustainability performance to facilitate decision making and educate stakeholders, including senior management
Preparing public disclosures of operational sustainability performance data, including in the annual Report
Meeting relevant legislative and regulatory reporting requirements
Developing and executing the firm's carbon credit portfolio strategy
Monitoring operational sustainability evolutions, including best practices and innovation in carbon management, renewable energy, water and waste management, sourcing, and sustainable buildings
Present to Senior Management with overview of services, analytical reviews of year over year as well as forward looking view of expenses and impact on recoveries
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong knowledge of Corporate Financial systems including: Forecasting tools, MS Office (Excel) and presentation tools.
Keen eye for detail. You will be dealing with a of data and must possess Excel and analytical skills to see through the data and identify leakages in billing.
Excellent analytical, customer service and problem solving skills
Ability to clearly communicate and present information
Experience in or a demonstrated passion for sustainability or climate change/environmental issues
Strong project management and organizational skills, including attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a small team and proactively cultivate relationships with a diverse range of internal and external partners
Ability to excel in a high-performance, professional environment, while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to connect and distill trends and insights
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Strong initiative, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think creatively
