Job Title - Operations Analyst
Team - Fund Accounting – Booking, Billing & Trailer Fee
Location – Bangalore
Role Description
This is for the booking process, which ensures right cash is booked in a timely manner to front office, which will have an impact on their investment decisions. This role will be responsible for completing the day-to-day activity as per standards and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of assigned production duties. This position is required to record different types of transactions like, capstock, cashflows, expenses etc. into the portfolio. He/she will also be responsible for cash breaks management such as coupon/dividend breaks due to withholding tax, work on ad-hoc requests received from Portfolio Manager, onshore colleagues, internal functional teams etc.

Your key responsibilities
• This role will be responsible for completing the day-to-day activity as per standards and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of assigned production duties.
• This position is required to record different types of transactions like, capstock, cashflows, expenses etc.
• To have a thorough understanding of booking and reconciliation process & its corresponding KPIs
• Make sure to have Zero errors, timely escalations, and Nil operational losses
• The quality of research before booking should be accurate and descriptive.
• Breaks management and resolution
Your skills and experience
• Knowledge of reconciliation process and the associated Investment and Accounting Book of Records.
• Experience with BlackRock Solutions "Aladdin" system and/or TLM is a plus.
• Good understanding of Security and Trade Life Cycle of various financial products.
• A fresher will also do, or any experience related to reconciliation will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in core night shift.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office skills specifically MS Excel.
• Good analytical and quantitative skills; excellent organizational skills for tasks, work environment and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have ability to work within a team environment
