Join a Purpose-Driven Team Supporting Deaf Connect’s Fundraising Programs

Deaf Connect is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Operations and Compliance Coordinator to support the success of our fundraising and marketing activities—particularly our charity lottery campaigns.

We’re offering a full-time, flexible opportunity based in our Brisbane office. Our hybrid model supports balance, with core in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

About the role:

In this key role, you’ll coordinate essential processes to ensure our fundraising activities meet all compliance and regulatory obligations. From preparing charity lottery licence applications to supporting audit requirements and improving internal processes, you’ll play a hands-on part in ensuring everything runs smoothly and effectively.

You’ll also support the day-to-day work of the Operational Support Team, help maintain quality systems, and build positive relationships with both internal teams and external partners.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

Coordinating applications and reports for charity lottery licences and permits across multiple states.

Supporting compliance actions, audits, and monitoring changes to regulatory requirements.

Administering and improving processes relating to supporter data, ticket allocation, payments, customer service, and fundraising activities.

Providing high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Contributing to continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the Marketing and Sales Department.

About you:

In your application, let us know if you have these key skills and experience:

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Experience with compliance, reporting, or process coordination.

Confidence working across different teams and systems.

A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine interest in supporting community outcomes
