Operations and Functions Assistant
Overview: As the Operations Assistant, you'll play a key role in the daily function of the business. You'll spend most of your time in the office, with some deliveries and cooked-onsite functions on the side. We require a team player with great customer service skills, as well as excellent written and spoken English. Preferably you'll have a solid background in hospitality/catering and must be available for roster-based weekend and late night work as required. A full training program with intensive practical onsite and office based training will be provided.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Answering customer phone calls and emails
- Processing new orders and bookings
- Food deliveries around the Auckland region
- Operating a spit: cooking and cleaning (training on the job)
- Follow company policies particularly in regards to food safety and personal hygiene
- Leading staff at cooked-onsite catering events - after training period
What we need from you:
- Positive attitude, honest, trustworthy, friendly personality
- A full, clean drivers license with the ability to drive manual preferred
- A clean police record
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Good phone manner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Reliable and flexible to change
