Job Title - Corporate Security Operations and Travel Security Coordinator

Role Description
Role Summary:
The focus of the role is to provide support to the Global Operations and Travel Security Director. The role will include global implementation of operational and travel security standards to ensure employee security, safety and asset protection in line with the vision and strategy set by the Global Head of Corporate Security. The Corporate Security Operations and Travel Security Coordinator will develop strong relationships within the Regional Corporate Security teams and within other infrastructure functions that influence the role – for example the Global Travel and Global Real Estate teams.
This role will help the Regional Corporate Security teams drive operational excellence within the guarding functions, Regional Operations Centres, Corporate Security risk and security survey programs by developing standards based on best practices.

Your key responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of Global Corporate Security standards as well as other tasks including, but not limited to:
• Assisting in the delivery of strategic initiatives, by developing short- and long-term plans
• Track and report progress and escalate issues when required
• Assist in the development and delivery of Travel Security Standards
• Assist in the development and ongoing global monitoring of standards for guarding contracts, including the standards expected of the service, the measurements and KPIs that are required to be met
• Drive efficiencies where possible and propose innovative solutions both technical and physical
• Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Respond to Audit points, develop and implement action plans as required
• Represent the Global Operations and Travel Security Director when requested
Your skills and experience
• Tertiary education in a relevant subject preferred but not essential
• Expertise in corporate security within a large global organization
• Knowledge of both physical/technical and operational/guarding security, with on-the-ground commercial experience, preferably in the financial sector
• Regional security sector network, including contacts security vendors and Government
• Robust decision-making capability, while adopting a collegiate approach to functional teams
• Native English speaker, with briefing/presentation development and delivery, both written and verbal
• Strong project management and organizational skills – ability to reprioritize as the situation demands
• High level of self-motivation, results-based approach work ethic, and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to be available at any hours and to deal with active operational issues especially in a crisis
