Who are we looking for?
We are looking for experienced City Operations Consultants to join our talent network for a high-impact project with a leading global consulting firm. The project supports a fast-growing e-grocery platform in India with its aggressive market penetration strategy across key cities. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and can take end-to-end ownership of city-level operations, P&L, and execution excellence.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Own the city-level P&L—drive revenue growth, cost optimisation, and profitability
• Lead and manage high-performing on-ground teams: city managers, area leads, and delivery personnel
• Execute hyperlocal growth strategies—launch new zones, onboard partners, and test new ops models
• Coordinate with central teams (Marketing, HR, Tech, Supply Chain) for seamless rollout of city-specific plans
• Monitor and improve key input metrics across delivery operations, CX, and efficiency
• Leverage data insights to inform decisions, optimise processes, and deliver measurable impact
Skills & Qualifications:
• 5–10 years of experience in city operations, P&L management, logistics, e-commerce, FMCG, or retail
• Proven success in leading teams and driving business growth in dynamic environments
• Strong analytical and execution capability; hands-on approach with ownership mindset
• Experience in field operations, local-area marketing, or city-level business expansion is a big plus
• Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred but not mandatory if experience is highly relevant

• Location: Open to applications from all over India. Travel-intensive across North, East & West India (weekly fly-in/fly-out; travel/stay covered by the client)
• Type: Full-time contract
• Duration: 6 months (with high likelihood of extension)
