About the role:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Operations Executive to join our team and play a key role in the end- to-end coordination of international freight movements. This role involves close collaboration with clients, carriers, and agents to ensure smooth and efficient handling of shipments, and most importantly a high level of proactive customer service and support.
Success in this role will rely on your excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and genuine commitment to client satisfaction.
Core responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end shipment coordination, including bookings, documentation, Customs processes, and transport
Track and monitor shipments proactively, resolving delays or issues as they arise
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, overseas agents, and service providers
Handle dispute resolution and client concerns in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate and manage FCL, LCL, Air Freight, and OOG/BBK shipments
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures
Maintain accurate records and data entry within CargoWise
Support continuous improvement initiatives in operational efficiency and client service
Required skills & experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar freight forwarding operations role
Knowledge of Freight Forwarding software, 1-Stop & ICS
Strong knowledge of FCL, LCL & air freight processes, both import & export
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and take initiative when needed
OOG/Project cargo experience highly regarded
