Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's
Experience: 4-8 Years
Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai (Looking for candidates from Mumbai Only)
Past experience in Claims from Insurance Industry
Responsibilities Include:
• Supervise a team of claims adjusters, examiners, and other staff involved with the claims management and claims processing departments
• Review company policy to determine coverage or liability for new claims
• Ensure legal compliance, adherence to claims processes, and timely payments
• Pursue continued education opportunities to remain abreast of emerging laws or other required changes to insurance-related processes
• Facilitate the settling of complex claims and process related paperwork
• Determine and delegate claims settlement authority to claims representatives.
• Provide support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
• Responsible for preparing executive reporting and analysis that is consistent with defined standards and processes.
• Provide technical guidance to staff on claim investigation, reserving evaluation and resolution of claims.
• Evaluate, handle claims from members and other claimants.
• Manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of claims production.
• Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process.
• Apply appropriate interventions and follow up.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
• Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
