Job description
DUTIES
· Accept deposits/withdrawals, cash checks, process loan payments.
· Outgoing incoming & wire transactions.
· Process mail and night drop deposit.
· Balance cash drawer.
· Sell cashier’s checks.
· Verify signatures and process accordingly.
· Answer inquires and direct customers to the proper department for further bank services.
· Process various new accounts transactions by ensuring proper documentation and identification according to the bank's operations policy and BSA policy; perform OFAC check; maintain existing accounts of all types and close account as needed.
· Provide quality customer services including servicing existing customers, answering inquires, recommending solutions to customer problems, ordering checks.
· Maintain files on status of accounts and prepare appropriate branch reports.
· Handle non-post, non-sufficient funds, stop payments.
· Promote and cross-sell the Bank's services and products.
· Assist/support Operations Department with daily activities as assigned when not assigned to branch.
· Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and American Plus Bank's policies and procedures. Ensure compliance and completion of necessary compliance related training.
· Promote and cross-sell the Bank's services and products.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent with some college business classes helpful.
Experience: Five to seven years of bank branch operations experience. Thorough knowledge of Bank products and services.
Skills/ Ability: PC literate (with typing ability). Must be detail oriented and well organized. Strong communication skills and bilingual (English/Chinese) a plus
