Role Description
The Operations Lead is typically responsible for the supervision and oversight of a team and/or of workflow and functions. The Lead may perform regular business activities but in the main has responsibilities for people management, workflow, training and performance of controls. This would include to a large degree oversight of performance to Key Performance, Risk Indicators and Service level agreements. They have expertise or deeper understanding of process, product and/or the business and play a key role in facilitating communication between functional teams, sharing knowledge and good practice. They lead and foster the team dynamic, often providing resource strategy input and focus on process and performance efficiency. They are responsible for analysis, change and continuous improvement as well as the first or second level escalation point for the team. The Operations Lead proactively identifies, escalates and takes steps to substantially mitigate risk issues within and outside of direct main business area and is also responsible for building, fostering and managing relationships with relevant stakeholders (internal and/or external) and in particular around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.

Your key responsibilities
Analyzes business systems and functions; assists in identifying clients requirement and provides appropriate documentation for processes.
Manage SLA’s as per agreed Service specifications.
Ensure workforce management, shift planning and maintain required workforce in office and work from home mode to effectively manage Business Operations and SLA’s
Should work and contribute in production environment (Processing/4 Eye check or Quality check)
Ensure defects are under check and agreed level of accuracies are being met by all processes. Ensure root cause analysis and continuous improvement plan is shared and discussed with team
Incumbent should strive to gain end to end knowledge of domain he/she
Ensure people are motivated to perform, regular one-on-one discussions with people are held and all people related concerns are resolved keeping employee motivation high
Maintain attrition in team in line with organization’s attrition targets
Stake holder management (Internal/External)
Coordinate with projects/Change Management team for all market driven, client driven changes. Ensure all changes are successfully absorbed with no service disruption. Highlight any deviation to planned project milestones parameters.
Ensure all process documents are updated and necessary maintenance cycle is adhered
Ensure compliance under all audit’s ( Internal/External) parameters/guidelines
Supervises the development of scope of services and requirements definitions. Assigns, structures and supervises team deliverables to meet project schedules.
Incumbent should be able to analyze, responds and resolves issues and assists in re-evaluating priorities.
Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance & development. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
Prepare monthly/weekly reports as per regulatory and governance requirements with onshore partners.
Ensures timely and transparent reporting of SLAs and other business related topics to respective stakeholders including senior management.
Your skills and experience
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in Commerce is preferred.
Master’ degree in Commerce or business administration from reputed institute would be an added advantage.
German Language certification from premier Institute ( Preferred)
10+ years of overall experience
4-5 years of leadership experience
Experience working with International clients preferably with Banking captive or 3rd party organizations.
Experience in working with application delivery, management structures and reporting procedures

Analytical and business process development skills
Communication skills
Excellent command on MS Office skills particularly MS Excel and Power point.
Human relations skills to select, develop, mentor, discipline and reward employees
Ability to define specific solutions within an abstract environment
Ability to develop and apply business and management consulting applications and services
AVP should have 4-5 years’ experience in people management & performance management. Good command on German language with certification from premier institute.
