The incoming resource will be a part of the operations team and support the lending business. The shift timings would be UK Business working hours.
Job Responsibilities
Perform loan booking operations.
Perform in life loan management activities.
Review Legal documents.
Payment operations.
Desired Skills
Junior Accountancy Skills.
Loan Booking & in life management activities within the available systems pertaining to Syndication, Agency, Bilateral Loan operations.
Review & sign-off on legal documents.
Processing of payments to external parties (knowledge of payment operations preferably UK banking norms (KYC/Due diligence/AML).
Query and task management by Loan and customer type.
Periodic notifications management regarding loan statements, repayments, rate fixings, redemption statements etc.
Should possess decent written and verbal communication skills.

OakNorth Bank was built on the foundations of frustrations with old-school banking. In 2005, when our founders tried to get capital for their data analytics company, the computer said ‘no’. Unfortunately, all major banks in the UK were using the same computer – and it was broken.
Why was it so difficult for a profitable business with impressive cashflow, retained clients, and clear commercial success to get a loan?
The industry was backward-looking and too focused on historic financials, rather than future potential.
