Operations Manager
Overview
Temple's Sugar Bush is a diverse, growing rural enterprise located in Fergusons Falls, central Lanark County. We operate as a wedding and events venue, a seasonal maple restaurant and maple sugar bush. We are looking for an Operations Manager with extensive management experience in the hospitality and wedding industry to provide outstanding experiences which exceed our customers' expectations.
The operations manager is responsible for planning and delivery of services for weddings, events and restaurant operations. This includes recruiting, scheduling and managing service staff, working with the Chef and kitchen team planning food service, and completing sales reports. The position is the lead for engagement with customers as they plan, setup and celebrate their wedding. The Operations Manager plays an important role in sales and marketing activities.
We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 2 years management experience and a proven tract record of proficiency in the hospitality and wedding industry. This is a full time position which involves working on weekends. Smart serve and safe food handling certification are necessary. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Compensation is commensurate with skill and experience and can be paid on an hourly or salaried basis.
