Your key responsibilities
While each role will carry its specific nuances, largely the following processes/functions are being sought during the hiring drive:
• Payments: You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all types of payments, including physical cash/valuables and cash-related investigations. This includes processing time-critical, complex transactions on behalf of the bank's internal and external clients, and handling enquiries from clients and internal stakeholders on cash payments before and after execution.
• Reconciliation Production Operator: You will be responsible for developing operating level agreements and ensuring they align with overall business service level agreements. Tasks include executing/bookkeeping Prime Brokerage Equity clean cash payments for PB clients, inventory management of stock across markets, reconciliation of Nostro breaks, and risk reporting of high values.
• Settlement: You are expected to perform pre and post-settlement tasks under Derivative Settlements across asset classes. You will ensure that all tasks assigned to the team are done accurately and that all exception items are followed up to resolution. In addition to daily BAU, you will also participate in projects, group initiatives, UAT tests, and training.
• Collateral Management Operator: You will be part of a team responsible for daily collateral reconciliation and dispute resolution, working with collateral management colleagues globally, operations colleagues, risk management, and front office traders & sales to monitor the firm's exposure to clients and counterparties.
• Treasury: You will understand the trade life cycle and manage work effectively along the trade life cycle from trade capture to settlements. You are responsible for carrying out daily tasks effectively, efficiently, and accurately, as incorrect processing exposes the bank to financial and regulatory risks.
• Trade Finance: You will handle processing of collections and letters of credit as part of the trade operation team in the Trade Center, meeting agreed customer service level agreements and reviewing outstanding transactions.
• Client Lifecycle: You will onboard and offboard clients, ensuring know your customer requirements are met, and conduct periodic reviews of clients depending on risk and value.
• Messaging & Embargo Filtering: You will be responsible for reviewing, confirming, and making decisions on stopped transaction messages to confirm mismatches for release from the transaction filtering process in line with applicable sanction regulations and the bank's policies and procedures.
• Operational Reference Data Services (ORDS): You will provide operational services across Global Markets and Corporate Investment Banking clients globally, enabling client business, regulatory and tax compliance, and driving up data standards within the firm.
Your skills and experience
• Ensure processes are performed as per defined Key Operating Procedures.
• Escalate unusual activity (e.g., high-value payments or breaks).
• Be aware of risks attached to the processes and escalate potential risks to supervisors.
• Contribute to intra and end-of-day monitoring of process checkpoints to investigate and provide guidance on issues experienced by team members.
• Establish a good level of understanding of connectivity from a process and system perspective.
• Communicate with stakeholders to share any process-specific updates or escalate issues.
• Identify and use Key Risk Indicators (measurable characteristics of a business process) and coordinate appropriate and regular management reporting.
• Research, recommend, and implement process improvements where appropriate.
Education/Qualification:
2026 Graduates B Com / BBA with 7 CGPA and above in graduation (till date) with no active backlogs.
