Operations Security Engineer – IAM/PAM

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Security Engineer with strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) to join our IT security team. This role is critical in ensuring the secure and seamless operation of IAM/PAM services across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

IAM and PAM Support:

• Provide technical support for IAM and PAM solutions, including provisioning, authentication, and access control.

• Troubleshoot and resolve user access and authentication issues.

• Deploy and configure One Identity Safeguard solutions as per organizational requirements.

• Assist in integration with Active Directory, SIEM, MFA tools, and other systems.

• Customize platform settings, reports, and alerts based on needs.

System Maintenance & Upgrades:

• Regularly apply updates and patches to IAM/PAM platforms.

• Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance, and ensure optimal performance.

Application Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and resolve software-related issues.

• Escalate complex incidents to appropriate teams.

• Maintain documentation of troubleshooting steps and solutions.

Compliance & Audit Support:

• Ensure systems align with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, SOX, HIPAA.

• Assist in audit readiness and privileged access evidence gathering.

User Training & Onboarding:

• Guide users on IAM/PAM policies and tools.

• Conduct awareness and training sessions on secure access management.

Incident Response:

• Participate in investigation and remediation of IAM/PAM-related incidents.

• Collaborate with security teams during unauthorized access events.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance IAM/PAM services.

• Stay updated on emerging threats, tools, and best practices in IAM/PAM.

• Propose process enhancements and automation opportunities.
