Position Summary
The Operations Specialist will be responsible for independently performing day-to-day duties including, but not limited to processing, monitoring, verifying, posting Domestic, International wire transfers. Follow established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OFAC, Regulation J, Regulation E and Uniform Commercial Code Article 4A (UCC 4A). Provide professionally clear and concise information when conversing with other departments. Consistently provides remarkable client experience for both internal and external clients. In addition, the Operations Specialist will process foreign check collection, daily ATM entries and handle day-to-day operations duties. The list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem as necessary.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Wire transfer processing
• Foreign Check Collection
• Card ordering & processing.
• Regulation E Claims (Provisional credits, research and adjustments, submission)
• Branch Capture daily work
• Foreign check processing
• Process large dollar return notifications.
• Daily maintenance for accounts and debit/ATM cards (including interest maintenance)
• ACH Filters & ACH origination returns.
• Online Maintenance (Consumer)
• Online second review (Commercial)
• Off-site ATM relationship and cash ordering
• Open GNMA accounts for Capital Funding
• Open Escrow account for Bridge Loans
• NSF and Return Item Processing
• Non-Posted Item Processing
• Mobile Banking Deposit Review and Processing
• Notice Printing and Processing
• Branch & Vault Settlements
Qualifications And Requirements
• Minimum of three – five years' of relative banking experience.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
• Ability to think proactively, handle multiple tasks, and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in basic software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of deposit products and/or services offered by the bank.
• Experience with account opening systems and banking core systems.
