The Operations Specialist provides confidential, accurate data entry and operational support to the Operations Coordinator and wider Case Management team. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality processing of employee records and supporting MBIE's commitment to timely, accurate, and auditable operational activity.
Key Responsiblities:
Provide oversight to detailed operations activity and have strong attention to detail
Prioritise workload and be quick to pick up on priorities to ensure deadlines are achieved
Escalate issues as required and ensure SLAs are met and fully documented
Work well and share knowledge in a busy team environment
Embrace different ways of working and collaborate well with peers

Strong administration and processing skills
Proven attention to detail and high-quality data entry
Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of HR and payroll processes, employment legislation and record-keeping requirements

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight timeframes
A customer-service mindset with a willingness to take on any task
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team
Legal right to live and work in Aotearoa New Zealand
