About the Role
As an Operations Supervisor at the Redbank Hire Yard, you will manage a small team to complete a range of diverse tasks associated with the preparation, maintenance, and return of Ausco Hire Fleet Assets. Your focus on quality, safety, and efficiency will ensure our fleet exceeds customer expectations and meets our internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the preparation of Prepare hire fleet assets to meet customer specifications, quality, and safety standards.
Support the team coordinating the Manage transportation, transit preparation, and documentation of fleet assets.
Ensure all ancillary equipment is maintained, checked and tested. Any defective equipment tagged and isolated. Test, check, and maintain ancillary equipment, isolate and tag defects.
Manage Conduct repairs and retrofits to uphold fleet standards.
Coordinate stock takes and maintains accurate asset records.
Lead, supervise, and motivate employees to ensure productivity, quality, and compliance.
Plan resources, manage schedules, and support staff development.
Foster a performance culture with accountability and engagement.
Ensure HSE compliance, life-saving rules adherence, and safe work practices.
Manage resources efficiently, maintain budget compliance, and uphold governance standards.
Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and confidentiality requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
Current Driver’s License
Forklift (High Risk) License
Literacy, numeracy, and basic computer skills (MS Office suite)
Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and prioritize tasks safely and efficiently
Experience in modular buildings, construction, or resource industry
