Due to the expansion of Paving operations across New Zealand, we are looking for highly motivated individuals to operate alongside our Asphalt team. This role is based in Hamilton.
Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
You'll be part of a dedicated crew who provide operational support on our Asphalt maintenance jobs. You will be responsible for ensuring that asphalt machinery is operated in, presented, serviced, and maintained in a professional, safe and efficient manner. Along with operating pavers you will also assist the crew with manual labouring.
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Candidates will preferably have at 1 year of relevant experience for this role, ideally operating asphalt pavers
Full Class 1 and 2 Drivers Licence with WTR - Class 4 & 5 NZ Drivers Licence is desirable.
Experience or exposure to asphalt machinery operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will work with an extensive range of Downer and contracting crew members
Commitment to a high standard of Health & Safety
