Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (mornings)
May need to travel to second clinic on Wednesdays
About the Role
We are a busy, physician-owned retina specialty practice seeking a reliable, motivated Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team.
This is a hands-on clinical role focused on patient work-ups and imaging. You will be an important part of a small, supportive team caring for patients with retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusions.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment.
What You Will Do
Perform OCT imaging
Measure visual acuity
Take intraocular pressures
Room and prepare patients
Assist with clinic flow and patient movement
Work closely with the physician and clinical team
Who We’re Looking For
Required -
Strong work ethic and reliability
Comfortable working directly with patients
Ability to stay organized and multitask
Basic computer skills
Strongly Preferred -
Ophthalmic or optometric experience
OCT or imaging experience
Medical office experience
We are open to entry-level candidates who are motivated to learn as well as experienced ophthalmic assistants.
