Ophthalmic Technician/ Eye Care Team Member
Full job description
We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our health care team at our busy Ophthalmology practice. The successful candidates will work alongside the Ophthalmologists and team to provide high-quality patient care for patient screening and pretesting.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Manage patient records.
Ensure that medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure that patient care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Taking patient medical history.
Checking visual acuities and IOP.
Pupil assessment.
Administering eye drops.
Performing visual field testing.
Obtaining OCT images.
Obtaining fundus photos.
Performing IOL measurements.
Greet patients and visitors.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer and typing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
