Job Description
• Consolidate discount requests from key accounts or customers and route it to the respective regional managers in cases of discounts exceeding the allowable limit.
• Escalate matters to senior management during rejection of proposals or if there is a requirement for negotiation relating to discounts offered.
• Identify the requirements and potential business opportunities from the customers and propose solutions either from the existing product portfolio or by placing a customized order.
• Search for business opportunities by conducting frequent visits and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Coordinate with the channel teams to garner response to the queries posed by the customers seeking clarifications on the solutions provided.
• Initiate cold calls with potential customers to understand their requirements.
• Formulate and customize proposals for the customers based on the initial understanding of the requirements.
• Analyze data from third party sources like D & B to identify the potential customers and propensity of sales
