Responsibilities:
Perform Quality Control reviews on KYC onboarding and KYC Review requests for Low, Medium and High risk rated customers
Ensure documentation correctness (i.e. that the document is true/accurate and confirming to relevant standards) and adherence to procedures and existing standards
Ensure timely and accurate feedback given where needed
Demonstrate sense of ownership for the QC queue and its part in the overall process to support the business
Act as a process SME, conducting trainings as needed, and work to ensure best practices are shared with the broader team.
Ideal Candidate:
The candidate must have a strong on-boarding background, with a focus in Quality Control.
Ability to plan and organize workload within tight deadlines, meeting day-to-day objectives as well as longer term strategic goals
Strong communication skills (both interactive and written)
Highly organized with attention to detail to ensure client files are complete to satisfy regulatory requirement
Flexibility and ability to readily adapt to changes in procedure
Team player
Proficient analytical skills
Degree level educated, or equivalent, with a good general experience background
High level proficiency of Spanish (speaking, writing, reading) preferred
Preferable with Series 99, or 7

With respect to this position in our Houston Office, the expected base salary ranges from $90,000 to $110,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
Employment eligibility to work with BBVA in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions
