What will your day look like
You will be working for the Trade and supply chain Operations department of the bank which executes trade and supply chain finance transactions for Corporate and Institutional customers of ANZ’s trade business globally. Typically, these are Global and International Banking customers involved in cross border exporting & importing activity, as well as domestic flows of goods and Financial Institution customers (who have importer and exporter customers).
You will be expected to handle processing of Trade Finance transactions within the applicable systems as well as be update on all nuances related to the process
Interact directly with the Onshore stake holders and hold relevant process review to streamline the flow where applicable.
This role demands an approval authority; hence the talent should be strong in analytical & problem-solving ability including being a good team player
Also be quick in learning and interpreting the relevant Trade Finance publication / journals and be keen to take on additional responsibilities
Experience or formal qualifications in banking aren’t required to be great in this role, but you will need to have a good commercial acumen and enjoy working with numbers. This will help you get the most out of our training program that teaches you everything you need to know about Trade Finance process.
But the learning and development doesn’t stop there. You’ll have on-going training opportunities to advance your skills in Trade, to potentially grow into leadership roles within the team or to move across to other areas of the bank. The skills and experience you will gain as an Ops Specialist-Trade and Supply Chain Operations are highly sought after across ANZ and the entire financial services industry.
