Optical Assistant / Dispenser – City Optics, Wetherill Park

Wetherill Park Shopping Centre | Part-time

City Optics is the newest name in eyecare at Wetherill Park - opening this August!

We’re a fresh, modern practice looking for a friendly and capable Optical Assistant or Dispenser to join our team and help us deliver exceptional, down to earth patient care.

This is a great opportunity to get in early and grow with a brand new independent practice that puts people before KPIs.

About the Role

You’ll be a key part of our day to day team, supporting both the front and clinical areas of the practice. Your days will include:

Delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly and professional approach

Assisting with frame and lens selection, quoting, and minor repairs

Performing general admin duties and helping to keep the practice running smoothly

Using optical software (Sunix or similar) for bookings, recalls, and patient notes

Helping patients feel at ease and supported every step of the way

About You

You have customer service experience, ideally in an optical or retail setting

Optical dispensing experience is preferred – but we’re happy to train the right person

You’re confident, reliable, and enjoy working in a team environment

You’re happy to roll up your sleeves and lend a hand wherever needed

Availability on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays is preferred
