Job Description
A non-exhaustive description of the role is as follows
1. Performing the role of a technician
a. Adjusting and fitting frames according to the prescriptions and customer's specifications, as well as to suit the customer's face.
b. Repair broken frames.
c. Repair damaged frames.
d. Assemble eyeglasses by cutting and edging lenses, and fitting the lenses into frames.
Heat, shape, or bend plastic or metal frames to adjust eyeglasses to fit clients, using pliers and hands
e. Grind lens edges, or apply coatings to lenses.
2. Ensuring all stock are maintained in good condition & kept back in their designated area after the completion of a sale and assisting your colleagues in doing the same
3. Cleaning & sanitization of all allocated counter spaces at the designated times
4. Being involved in stocktaking, maintaining sales floor standards, and other day-to-day tasks to deliver the best shopping experience to the customers.
5. Performing all the miscellaneous tasks of an optical store
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Open only for male candidates.
2. Should have a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in the luxury retail industry
3. Should have a good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and Google Sheets
