Full job description
Our office is currently seeking a part - time Optometric Assistant.

We are looking for availability on evenings and Saturday.

Our practice is closed on Sundays.

Responsibilities and Duties

Answer phone calls
Schedule and Confirm Appointments
Greet and check patients in/out
Taking patient payments
Pre-testing patient
Assisting with frame selection
Submitting Insurance Claims
Dispense Glasses
Regular office duties
Light cleaning
Assist in other areas of the office as needed
Qualifications and Skills

Excellent customer service skills
Friendly and People-Oriented
Basic Computer Skills
Efficient multi-tasking and detail-oriented
Punctual and Dependable
Organized
Ability to manage social media sites is beneficial
Experience in an optometrist office is beneficial, but willing to train the right person
Job Type: Part-time
